This Privacy Policy explains how Chess Ora Classic Game ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use the App. We built Chess Ora to be a fully offline chess game, and this policy reflects that: the App does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not send your data to us or to any third party.
1. Information We Collect
Chess Ora Classic Game does not collect any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or location), and does not require you to create an account or sign in to play.
The App stores the following information locally on your device only, and it is never transmitted anywhere:
- Your in-app display name (if you choose to set one) and game statistics (wins, losses, draws, rating)
- Level progress, unlocked levels, and star ratings
- Puzzle completion progress
- XP, coins, and unlocked achievements
- App preferences (sound, board theme, piece style, and other settings)
- Your current in-progress game, so you can resume it later
This information is stored using standard on-device local storage. Uninstalling the App permanently deletes this data. You can also clear it at any time from the App's Settings screen ("Reset Progress").
2. Permissions
Chess Ora Classic Game does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, photos, or any other sensitive device permission. The App is designed to function completely offline.
3. Third-Party Services
As of the effective date above, Chess Ora Classic Game does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud services (for example, Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics, or Firebase Cloud services are not active in this version of the App). No data is shared with any third party because none is collected in the first place.
If a future version of the App adds optional features such as advertising, cloud save, or analytics, this Privacy Policy will be updated in advance of that release to clearly disclose what data those services collect and how it is used, and — where required — your consent will be requested before any such feature is enabled.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any user data with third parties, advertisers, or other companies, because the App does not transmit any data off of your device.
5. Children's Privacy
Chess Ora Classic Game does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, since the App collects no personal information from any user. The App is suitable for a general audience.
6. Data Security
Because all App data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it, your information is only as secure as your device itself. We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a lock screen if you are concerned about others accessing your device.
